基于多Agent的分布式防空战场资源管理研究

分布式防空战场资源管理是构建现代防空体系的核心问题。基于对分布式防空战场资源管理特点的分析,提出了基于多智能体(Agent)的分布式防空战场资源管理体系结构,并深入分析了该管理系统的组成和功能,为实现定性和定量相结合的防空战场资源管理的综合集成,提供了一条有效的途径。     

What-If at Waterloo. Carl von Clausewitz’s use of historical counterfactuals in his history of the Campaign of 1815

In this article, I analyze the use of historical counterfactuals in the Campaign of 1815 by Carl von Clausewitz (1780–1831). Such is the importance of counterfactuals in this work that its gist can be given in a series of 25 counterfactuals. I claim that a central role is played by evaluative counterfactuals. This specific form of counterfactuals is part of a didactic method that allows Clausewitz to teach young officers a critical method that prepares them for the challenge of decision-making in real warfare. I conclude with the enduring relevance of Clausewitz’s use of evaluative counterfactuals for contemporary military historiography.     

飞机机翼结构损伤仿真研究

飞机结构的战伤模式及战伤程度预测对于制定战场抢修预案及改进战斗生存力设计具有重要意义。采用计算机模拟仿真技术定量分析了飞机机翼结构遭受射弹攻击后的损伤情况。通过损伤仿真讨论了3类情形,一是机翼结构受到简单的侵彻后的冲击效应;二是高速射弹攻击带有翼盒的机翼,而产生流体动力冲压效应;三是在射弹冲击模型中增加爆炸条件,研究射弹以任意角度冲击不同的位置产生的耦合效应。基于AN SY S/LS-DYNA仿真,给出了机翼结构损伤的结果,结论为战伤飞机战场抢修的快速评估提供了科学依据,也为飞机平时修理提供了参考。     

The Armoury Gauging System and Interchangeable Manufacture

Abstract

Scientifically analysing important artefacts from the site of historic battles is vital if the best information is to be retrieved from the field. A detailed knowledge of the specific equipment that was available to the combatants from a known battle is also required at a high level so that artefacts and fragments resulting from an historic battlefield archaeological survey can be recognised when found. Access to specialists from all walks of life is required throughout each battlefield-related project, from the fieldwork stages to the dissemination of information. The following paper discusses the importance of working alongside museums and specialists and gives examples of how the Towton Battlefield Archaeology Project has successfully worked with the staff at the Royal Armouries Leeds.     

Croatia's bitter harvest: Total National Defence's role in the Croatian War of Independence

Croatia's successful bid for independence was one of the defining moments of the immediate post-Cold War period. Nevertheless, the means that Croatia used to obtain independence remains relatively unexamined by academics. This article focuses on the early period of Croatia's bid for secession, and specifically the role that Yugoslavia's policy of Total National Defence played in facilitating its independence. Unlike in Slovenia, where the legacies of Total National Defence facilitated Slovenia's bid for secession, in Croatia the decision of its political leaders meant that the country largely neglected its positive legacies, resulting in a protracted four-year struggle.

From rivals to partners: AirSea Battle and the US air force–navy relationship

AirSea Battle (ASB) has generated significant publicity, controversy, and debate among scholars, analysts, commentators, and observers of US defense strategy. However, a research gap exists concerning formal analysis of the impact of the operational concept on the relationship between the US Air Force (USAF) and the US Navy (USN). The impact of the ASB operational concept on the USAF–USN relationship is examined across the issue areas of strategy, budgets, weapons procurement, and training. These four issue areas represent important areas of historical conflict and competition between the Air Force and Navy. The conclusion is that ASB is ushering in a new era of Air Force–Navy partnership that advances the inter-service dynamic from “jointness” toward integration. The emergent USAF–USN partnership therefore represents a significant development in US defense politics and defense strategy.     

Colonizing military history: A millennial view on the economics of war

We briefly illustrate the application of fundamental principles of economics to three episodes of military history for the second millennium AD. The periods, principles, and cases examined are, first, the European Middle Ages (1000-1300; opportunity cost; siege warfare); second, the Enlightenment and the Age of Battle (1618-1814; expected marginal costs/benefits; the decision to engage in battle); and third, the Cold War (1945-1989; substitution; France's nuclear force de frappe).

文章以美“空海一体战”理论的提出为背景,深刻分析了新战略背景下我防空预警监视雷达系统所面临的现实威胁和挑战,结合我军防空预警监视雷达系统现状,对该系统的建设发展问题进行了多方位分析和研究,指出朝着基于系统构成优化、作战运用优化以及信息高效融合的一体化方向发展是我防空预警监视雷达系统在新战略背景下的必然选择.     

The Towton Battle — A Reinterpretation

The paper re-interprets the implement known as the ‘Towton Battle Axe’ allegedly found in the river which borders the Towton Battlefield (1461), Yorkshire, England, and which now resides in Alnwick Castle, Northumberland. The paper provides parallels, in the form of comparisons with other weapons, in order that the Towton implement can be shown to be a modified former halberd dating from the early sixteenth century. It is, therefore, highly unlikely that the implement was used in the famous battle.
